Sarah has been with Heritage Animal Hospital since July of 2017. She hired in as a receptionist for our south location. Soon after, she was promoted to office manager.
Sarah has always had a love for animals. She started working after school at the Clay County Humane Society from age 11 to 17. After high school she attended Saint Mary of the Woods College where she doubled majored in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Upon graduation in 2011 she became a CADAC II certified substance abuse counselor and worked for Putnamville Correctional Facility in their in-patient CLIFF program. While at Putnamville she volunteered with the Prison Greyhound Program. After 3 years of substance abuse counseling she decided she really wanted to work with animals again. She found a position at Four Loving Paws Veterinary Services in Brazil, Indiana as an office Manager.
Now Sarah has found her home here at HAH and we are elated to have her! In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, camping, fishing, and kayaking. She shares her home with 4 English Bulldogs – Hank, Stella, Kipp and Betsy, and 6 cats – Skeet, Jinx Monsoon, Baby Kidden, Lil Ninja, Violet Meowski, and Greyson.
Lynette was born and raised in Sullivan, IN and still lives there with her husband, Nick, and her son, Carter. They have two majestic cats, Kiki and Poppy.
After completing her externship at our north clinic and graduating with a degree in veterinary technology, she then started at our south location in July 2018. She has recently passed her VTNE and is on her way to become a registered veterinary technician. She is still learning so much and loving every minute of it!
Her love of animals started at a young age and has never stopped. She has always felt a connection with every animal that she came in contact with. She is now using that connection to make a difference by giving your pet the love and care it deserves to live its best life.
Destini was born in Branson, Missouri, where she developed an intense love of medicine early on in life. As she got older, her interest in biology started to blossom. Now, Destini gets to combine her love of medicine, her fascination with science, and her passion for pets as a Veterinary Assistant!
Destini graduated from Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in X-ray technology, then took a position here at Heritage Animal Hospital South as a receptionist. She began to work her way into the medical side of the clinic and has since become a Veterinary Assistant. Examining samples under the microscope is one of her favorite things to do, and she’s also fond of helping out with surgeries.
Destini, her husband, and their two sons share their lives with a trio of pugs: Jackson, Trinity, and Opie. They also have a Rottweiler/Labrador mix named Morgan and a cat named Mecko.
One morning, Nicole heard a knock at her door. It was a girl with a puppy, who said she couldn’t keep the puppy. Nicole couldn’t turn her away—she ended up adopting her and bringing her here to Heritage Animal Hospital South for her first appointment. As fate would have it, Nicole ended up applying for a job and has been here ever since!
Originally from a small town in Indiana, Nicole started here at the hospital in August of 2011. Her favorite part of the job is the differences in animal personalities that she gets to witness firsthand.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and their dog Cheyenne. She also likes outdoor activities like fishing and camping.
