Our Careteam

  • Sarah
    Office Manager & Reception

Sarah has been with Heritage Animal Hospital since July of 2017. She hired in as a receptionist for our south location. Soon after, she was promoted to office manager.

Sarah has always had a love for animals. She started working after school at the Clay County Humane Society from age 11 to 17. After high school she attended Saint Mary of the Woods College where she doubled majored in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Upon graduation in 2011 she became a CADAC II certified substance abuse counselor and worked for Putnamville Correctional Facility in their in-patient CLIFF program. While at Putnamville she volunteered with the Prison Greyhound Program. After 3 years of substance abuse counseling she decided she really wanted to work with animals again. She found a position at Four Loving Paws Veterinary Services in Brazil, Indiana as an office Manager.

Now Sarah has found her home here at HAH and we are elated to have her! In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, camping, fishing, and kayaking. She shares her home with 4 English Bulldogs – Hank, Stella, Kipp and Betsy, and 6 cats – Skeet, Jinx Monsoon, Baby Kidden, Lil Ninja, Violet Meowski, and Greyson.

  • Lynette
    Registered Veterinary Technician

Lynette was born and raised in Sullivan, IN and still lives there with her husband, Nick, and her son, Carter. They have two majestic cats, Kiki and Poppy.
After completing her externship at our north clinic and graduating with a degree in veterinary technology, she then started at our south location in July 2018.  She has recently passed her VTNE and is on her way to become a registered veterinary technician. She is still learning so much and loving every minute of it!
Her love of animals started at a young age and has never stopped. She has always felt a connection with every animal that she came in contact with. She is now using that connection to make a difference by giving your pet the love and care it deserves to live its best life.

  • Destini
    Veterinary Assistant

Destini was born in Branson, Missouri, where she developed an intense love of medicine early on in life. As she got older, her interest in biology started to blossom. Now, Destini gets to combine her love of medicine, her fascination with science, and her passion for pets as a Veterinary Assistant!

Destini graduated from Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in X-ray technology, then took a position here at Heritage Animal Hospital South as a receptionist. She began to work her way into the medical side of the clinic and has since become a Veterinary Assistant. Examining samples under the microscope is one of her favorite things to do, and she’s also fond of helping out with surgeries.

Destini, her husband, and their two sons share their lives with a trio of pugs: Jackson, Trinity, and Opie. They also have a Rottweiler/Labrador mix named Morgan and a cat named Mecko.

  • Olivia G.
    Veterinary Assistant

Olivia joined the Heritage family in December 2020 as a veterinary assistant. She absolutely loves going to work every day, and says it’s the best part of her week!!! Her favorite part about working at Heritage is that she gets to learn something new every day, whether it’s from a doctor, technician or a kennel assistant.

She has always had a love for taking care of others. She started in the nursing program at Ivy Tech, while working full time as a CNA. Although she loved the residents she took care of eventually she realized that profession was not for her. She still wanted to have a caring role in her career, so she chose to go with veterinary medicine. She grew up having a lot of animals, even some unusual ones. She is currently enrolled at Penn Foster to become an RVT and she is looking forward to a lifetime of working with animals!

Olivia shares her home with 2 dogs, Dexter & Theodore, 2 cats, Nugget & Harvey, a bird named Bo, a chameleon named Goggles, 2 geckos, Ricky & Lucy, 2 goats, Daisy & Charlotte and 18 chickens!!

  • Nicole P.
    Receptionist

One morning, Nicole heard a knock at her door. It was a girl with a puppy, who said she couldn’t keep the puppy. Nicole couldn’t turn her away—she ended up adopting her and bringing her here to Heritage Animal Hospital South for her first appointment. As fate would have it, Nicole ended up applying for a job and has been here ever since!

Originally from a small town in Indiana, Nicole started here at the hospital in August of 2011. Her favorite part of the job is the differences in animal personalities that she gets to witness firsthand.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and their dog Cheyenne. She also likes outdoor activities like fishing and camping.

  • Haley B.
    Receptionist

Haley has worked for Heritage Animal Hospital since July of 2020. Haley is a current student at Ivy Tech Community College where she is completing her general studies with a focus in health science classes. Prior to her employment at Heritage Animal Hospital, Haley was teaching preschool children. Haley has always had a love for animals, and when a position opened up at Heritage, she knew she wanted to join the team!
Outside of work, Haley no children of her own, but she has custody of her 6-year-old sister. She also shares her home with her 2 bearded dragons, Zilla and Margo!

In 2012, Katrina moved to Clay County Indiana. After her move, she took some time off work to raise her 3 beautiful children. Katrina shares her home with her two dogs, Iris & Maggie, and two geckos, Charlie & Arlo. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors with her children. Katrina states that she absolutely loves her work family and greatly enjoys working with all of your furbabies at Heritage!

  • Logan B.
    Kennel Attendant

Logan joined our HAH family in September of 2020. Logan states that every moment he spends at Heritage, he loves. It’s a great learning experience for him and his coworkers are like his family. “We all have our days but my coworkers are like no other, our doctors are far by the best and I highly doubt that I will ever find a better job than this one.”
Logan loves animals and he loves helping them. He treats each animal like he would want his treated. In his free time (which is rare) he works with his family or watches Real Housewives. Logan is currently in high school at Terre Haute South. After graduation, he would love to become a nurse, but after working at Heritage, he might change plans and become a vet tech. Logan shares his home his 2 furbabies. Two Dobermans, Nala and Rocky. They are his world. They both have their own personalities, and he could not imagine his life without them. Logan is always busy but he makes time for the ones he loves.
