Emergency services are only available through Heritage Animal Hospital for our active clients. Active clients are defined as having been seen by a doctor at our north or south location in the last 2 years.
If your pet has an emergency outside of normal business hours, please call either the North or South clinic's phone number. North clinic- 812-466-1155 or South clinic 812-299-1131. When you call, you will hear a recording. It will prompt you to PRESS 1 for a Medical Emergency. After pressing 1, your call will be transferred to our answering service- Guardian Vets. They will talk with you regarding your pet, if an emergency visit is warranted, they will contact the doctor on call and schedule a time with you to meet the doctor at the clinic.
Our emergency fees will be discussed with you before the emergency visit is scheduled. Costs for all other treatment(s) and/or medication(s) will be in addition to the emergency fee. Payment is expected in full at the time of service; do not ask us to bill you.
Heritage Animal Hospital is ALWAYS available for our clients.
